Volunteering is a great way to make an impact in our church community while building connections and friendships. You have unique gifts and talents that can make a difference, and working together creates beauty and strength in the community. Whether you want to get involved as an individual, couple, family unit or friend group, there are ways for everyone of all ages to benefit.

If you're not sure what would suit you best, ask yourself these questions:

• What are my interests?

• What is my availability?

• Is there something I want to learn how to do?

• What are my skills and experiences?

• Do I prefer working with others or alone?

 

And then consider the following opportunities available at Hillside:

• Passing the offering basket during the service

• Building and grounds care

• Technology - sound and slides on Sundays

• Clean-up in the kitchen after fellowship on Sundays

• Worship musicians and singers - Sunday mornings and Oasis Wednesday evenings

• Children's ministry teachers, teacher assistants and childcare

• Ministry outreach in our greater community and beyond

• Greeting people at the door

• Lynn Valley Care Centre worship support

• Praying with people before or after the service

• Making coffee

• Hosting events

• Decorating during the holidays

• Something else you can uniquely bring!
