Jeff Schuliger | Pastor
Jeff has served at Hillside since 2017 having moved to Lynn Valley after 13 years of pastoral ministry in Boston, Massachusetts. Jeff holds a ThM (OT) from Regent College and enjoys coffee, poetry, walks in the woods, good music and stories of redemption. He and his wife, Carrie, have three adult children and two great sons-in-law.
Pauline Sanderson | Pastor
Pauline's history at Hillside began prior to becoming a pastor, as she was a member of the church long before she came on to the staff team. Her life experience includes having worked in the banking industry for years, raising her 3 (now adult) sons, and working at Keats Camps as Executive Director prior to joining Hillside in 2011. She has a MA in Theological Studies from Regent College, and loves spending time with her family including her 3 grandkids, hiking with friends, and kayaking our beautiful waterways. She believes that being invited into people’s stories and their faith journeys, both the ups and the downs, is a privilege - one of the best parts of being a pastor!
Nate Collins | Pastor

Nate has served at Hillside since 2019. Previously he was pastoral resident at the church he grew up at in Seattle. Prior to being a pastoral resident, Nate was studying for a MDiv and a ThM in New Testament and was a worship pastor. Nate likes reading, playing guitar, and spending time with his family. Nate’s family consists of his wife Katie and their kids, Peter, Micah, and Tessa.
youth and children's ministries
Winsor Boggs | Youth Pastor/Building Manager
Winsor is the Youth Pastor/Building Manager at Hillside. Before his role as Youth Pastor, Winsor was an intern at Hillside working with the worship team. He completed an mDiv from Regent College, and has a BA in Philosophy from Wheaton College. He met Abby at Wheaton, and they have been happily married since 2019. Their son, Woody, was born in 2024. Winsor treasures his family—including their golden retriever Hazel—and also enjoys music, food, and good conversations.

Megan Ferbers | Director of Children's Ministry
Megan Ferbers has been attending Hillside since 2018, starting off as an Oasis youth and Club 6/7 leader and now serving as the Childrens Director. She is currently attending Columbia Bible College in the youth work program and wants to continue ministering to young people after she graduates. She enjoys sewing, horseback riding, and spending time with her cat.

Kristin Rose | Pastoral Intern
Kristin has been a member of Hillside Church, serving in various roles, since 2011. She is currently a student at Regent College where she is working towards her Masters of Divinity. She is passionate about caring for God's church and is excited to be serving in a pastoral internship where she will have the opportunity to continue to grow in her leadership and preaching gifts. Kristin and her husband, Luke, love the North Shore - you can catch Luke skiing on Grouse, or running on Fisherman's trail and you can catch Kristin at a local coffee shop. She loves knitting, cooking, and movies.

Diana Cardona | Bookkeeper
Diana has been supporting the administration team, taking care of the books, since 2011. She is originally from Colombia, South America and moved with her family to Canada in 2003 when she also joined Hillside Church. Diana works as a bookkeeper for a Consulting and Accounting firm and also has her own private clients.

Chloe Carter | Office Administrator

Chloe grew up in the church but left with many questions, later finding answers in the Bible. After moving to North Vancouver, she returned to Hillside, a place she visited in her youth. Discovering the Admin position felt like an answer to her prayers for a job that glorifies God. In her free time, she enjoys frisbee golf with her fiancé Ethan and forest walks with her chihuahua Missy.
